If your 7 1/4 has 10 inch brakes then the shoes, wheel cylinders, hardware, and drums will go onto the 8 3/4 10 backing plates. You will need the 8 3/4 parking brake struts. Trust me I did this swap on my 66.
Going thru my old posts and I'm to the point where I'm going to swap from my 7 1/4 to my new 8 3/4 this weekend. I see that it is mentioned that I will need the 8 3/4 braking struts. Where would I find these if I do need them? Thanks
