modified hood

Thanks for all the great comments. I'm not sure how to do multiple quotes but to answer a couple of questions. I don't have plans for a spoiler at the moment, I plan on a tail stripe and a stripe like the factory used on the challenger hood in black.
The color is viper red.
I might look into pulling a mold to make some fiberglass units if i thought there was enough serious interest.
The drawback to doing a hood the way i did is that you basically have two hoods there so it is pretty costly if you go that route, unless you happen to have a couple of spare hoods sitting in the corner.(lucky for me, i did) Also the hood tends to get a little heavy with the extra sheet metal. i did cut the bottom out in the middle and some at the front but it is still heavier than stock. Here is a pictur of the underside. The center triangle is open to the top and just in front of the main brace i cut some of the factory hood away to get the new part to lay flat. I hope that makes sense.
