Except for the fact that if you use a photo sharing site and then close the account or move the photos from one folder to another then the linked photos get deleted out of the thread.
How many times have who started looking through a pic thread to see pics deleted in the post because of the above?
If you upload directly from your computer to the site, the pics stay in the thread.
