axle fit

Hi,

The additional axle that came with our purchase was supposed to be "just install" unit according to the PO.

We replaced the bearings and took the unit out to a trans place that is owned by a MOPAR guy. I gather that the pumpkin was in bad shape (same story for the transmission that came with the car as well but that is another story) so a replacement was installed.

I have ordered all the parts I need to put the brakes on (in on this Thursday) so the other day I installed the backing plates. I am not sure if it me but one side didn't seam to snug in like the other.

Is this normal or did I do something stoopid ?
