I'm confused, why would you want to put a 1965 transmission on a 2005 engine? If you want to actually drive the car, consider putting in a 545 or a Nag. JMO
Cost - I already have a race spec 727
Labour - not really interested in chopping and modding the centre console, tunnel etc
Wastage - I dont want to have a firesale on hardly used trans, converter driveshaft and diff gears
Purpose - my 727 is tuffer, shifts harder, shifts quicker and is more suitable for a street strip car.
Those are my reasons anyhow.....don't know about others.....:thumbrig:
