Does 90 degree oil filter adapter need cork gasket??

Dang yeah I wouldn't want that to happen. But see I primed the engine and while priming it I had 80psi oil pressure and the adapter began to leak so I tightened it up and so far it stopped leaking so I thought I may be good

If it starts leaking again while in the car it can be a *****. Better off to do it right.
