Not necessarily, as long as you have the proper fuel volume, 6.5psi would be fine. I would be more concerned with volume at this point. For what its worth, I run about 6.5psi on my car and it runs 10's @ 123mph.

Same here.... 6.5 should be just fine. Might want to check the line size, may be to small. I use 1/2" from the cell to the dominator.
