''I'm going to fix it up someday'' The resurrection of a '74 Dart Sport......

I like it! I'm not as big a fan of the Duster/Demon/Dart Sports as the Darts/Valiants, but damn dude-you've done a good bit of work to bring one back from the clutches of the crusher to a daily driver-congrats and great job.

I'm on the bandwagon with everyone else about your self-proclaimed lackluster welds-they're better than I could muster for just a MIG and not touching it for 10 years or so. Sucks that you had to stop for health reasons. I've been told professional welders earn a very comfortable living.

I like the stripes, and the overall progress on this build-makes me smile! I'll be keeping an eye on this one!

Jeff

Thanks for the compliments.
Yeah, maybe i was selling my welding skills a little short here, at least they are definitely better than the factory ones!
I have been welding by feel and instinct a lot until i started using my old school helmet, now i can see the puddle again. I just can't get used to the auto darkening helmets. :glasses7:
I'm getting better as the project rolls along as well.
Yes, you can make a decent living at it, i did for years, and it is a very satisfying trade if you have a lot of patience. it is also very hard on the body at times.
Keep watching, there is a lot more to come!
