Some more pictures I forgot to post earlier. I had bought a Grant steering wheel for the new column, and then my son changed his mind and decided to use the original one. And that required some alterations.
Because the original is keyed to the shaft he needed to file a spline in the key for the Flaming River shaft.
Next he had to enlarge the hole for the horn wire and plastic sleeve.
