mph to low maybe wrong gears?

Roger - please give me a call or stop by with the original carb... As they noted - you're way off and I can explain a bit of it and hand you a carb that's closer to what you need.
It's not the gearing. Get it running right, then calculate the slip in that convertor and I think you'll find the issue.
