jetting 750 cfm edelbrock on N code 383

hi guys, can anyone give me information on what jets and needles that i should change to adapt a new 750 cfm edelbrock performer that i have put on my completely stock n code 383 auto that had a factory 625 cfm carter originally? the 383 is one that i've put in my 1967 ex 273 fastback barracuda and it goes like hell now but "pops" when matted to the floor. i would think that i've got to cut back on the initial fuel load, through jetting, accellerator pump, or what? thanks Gerry
