depending on what part of Oregon, coastal - rain. rain. rain. gets to freezing for maybe a week. I don't think it got below 30's this year. Summers are just awesome. 3 months of 75 to 85 and sunny. unfortunately, it rains the rest of the year.... No sales tax either. I guess the best of both worlds would be to live in Vancouver Wa w/no income tax and buy in oregon w/no sales tax.
Idaho is nice also, winters are colder since it is higher elevation. I think I will retire in Montana though just beautiful country..
