Which state to live in?

Well I am getting out of school in a couple of weeks and have decided that now is a good time to move around. I just can not figure out where to move to. I was thinking somewhere west in the mountains. I figured this would be a great place to ask since people from all over the nation are on here daily, so what are your thoughts? I like hunting, fishing, climbing, hiking...pretty much all outdoors stuff so I am not really wanting to go into a big city.

Texas man Texas, just stay away from Austin, thats the blue part of Texas. I live in Abilene, love it. 2.5 hours away from D/FW metroplex. Far enough away, but close enough if i want to go to the big city. Not much in the way of rock climbing, but good fishing, and hunting. New mexico is a bit of a drive if you want to go climbing.

The big question though is, what do you do for a living? Some jobs determine where you live.

Good luck wherever you end up living, im just partial to my state.
