1983 Dodge Challenger

Front grill, headlight bezels, and lights have only been placed inside the grill opening. I didn't cut anything. The factory egg crate grill is still accounted for and uncut. Still have the square headlights also. I just wasn't a fan of the square lights. If you were referring to the car's front suspension, I haven't modified that at all. Finding any spare parts is hard for these cars due to their low survival rate. They actually share a lot of mechanical parts with Mitsubishi trucks and the later Starions. The '78-'83 Challenger bodies are somewhat rare. The car is sort of an orphan. My wife always hated it, so luckily a friend let me keep it at his house. I remember ever since these cars were new, I always liked them for some reason. I sat in a few Mitsu Challengers when they were in the dealer's showroom at Bob Banning Dodge in Maryland (late 1970's). I would have liked to restore it and tinker with it, but my unemployment situation is getting worse and I have no time to do anything with it. The guy before me made some attempts at restoring it, removed some moldings and kept it in a little portable garage. I found several hard to find parts, seat belts, power window motors, mirror control switch. I least tried to make it look a little more appealing with the blue paint job. A few people even asked me if it was a Buick Grand National or a Fox body Mustang. After all my efforts I hate to let it go, I just wish it would go to someone who would want to work on it some. A lot of hard to find parts have been found. It needs someone who would be willing to put some work into it. It would probably get some attention just because a lot of people haven't ever seen one on the streets in years.
