Personally I don't want an over the top show car. I'd be too scared something would happen to it. Bad enough my car got a big dent in it and I want it fixed but it's not bad enough I'm losing sleep over it.
A cousin built a $100,000 Cuda over 10 years to drag race. He raced it once and is now scared to race it again due to the years it took him to do all the work. Then he went out and bought a $100,000 pickup from Barrett Jackson to race instead.
Another cousin took the original engine out of his '69 Mustang Mach 1 and built a hotter motor in it so he doesn't have to worry about the original engine. He is so tired of the attention his car brings he doesn't even take it out anymore.
