God dang there Bill, hope nothing was too damaged.
The fire melted all the insulation on
all of the underhood wiring, the distributor cap (but not the rotor... lol!) the carburetor's rear float bowl, the spark plug wires, and all the rubber vacuum/pressure hoses.
The fire melted the outter sheathing on the Bouchillon throttle cable and the transmission kickdown/throttle-pressure cable.... hafta replace those.
It didn't damage the MSD Boost Master boost-referenced, ignition-retard system; it was on the inner fender panel on the driver's side... the fire was pretty much confined to the passenger side...
I will have to replace the entire under-hood wiring loom.... everything. But, they sell those wiring harnesses; it will just take time... (and $200.00...)
I already have everything else I need to get it running.... just have to order a harness... :banghead:
