1965 Dodge Dart Charger

Got the chromed gas cap today! And I must admit that it looks absolutly mint. It seems that the description I made yesterday was correct.The inner center dome wqas spot welded after the cap was chromed.

It feels tuff to get rid of the chrome and paint it!

So now I thinking of reconsider my plans. I think the chromed cap will be right on perfect.

The manufacturer of the cap is S.M.00. Does anyone who that is?

Any comments of using the chromed one instead of the painted one?
