Quadra Jet carb ID plz?

That might be worth something to a GM restorer! I can't imagine 1966 Q-jets grow on trees!

No they don't grow on trees. The Q-Jet plant had a fire that year leading to a shortage. They has to use Holleys to fill in the gaps.

For example, the 66 Chevelle SS, 396, 325hp I had.

The 325hp 396 should have had a Q-Jet, instead it had Holley. I still have the Holley from that car.

All this was verifiable by the Protecto-Plate and build sheet. The engine was even stamped with an "H" following the standard "EK" code.
