Thanks for the pic! That's what I gotta do then. Also, thanks for the info, I feel much better about trimming it now. I'll get some pics when I do it and post it on my build thread, just so anyone else with the question has something to reference to.
My brother suggested doing the same, I'm still thinking about it, but my car is in a different place than my welder, etc. I may trim it like above, do like you suggested, or even cut it at an angle and trim it up with my die grinder. Maybe even round the bottom out to match the uca. Gotta love ocd.
