6pakattack Time

Fuel flow ! Instead of the fuel being drawn from 2 barrels sideways, it draws from both barrels at the front ! At least that's my simple explanation !! I know what he's talking about, it's just that the manifold wasn't drilled to allow that, so I left well enough alone !! My two other 6's ran fine with the carbs the same direction so I'm not going to sweat it .

Are you talking about fuel flow or air flow??? Or both?

Also, since it's an open-plenum manifold, there is the same vacuum signal beneath the venturis no matter how it's turned, isn't there?

If that's true, what would be the advantage of rotating it 90-degrees?

There's obviously something I don't understand, here.

Vacuum is vacuum. The amount of vacuum acting on the carburetor is not going to change with an open plenum manifold like this, no matter how the carb is oriented. Is it???

I just can't see it... explain it to me. Please...:violent1:
