Chase or be chased to the line???

The fast car has the advantage that the slower car will red light first. The slower car has the advantage of a clean tree and a much shorter time to maintain concentration. If you have to sit there and stare at the tree for 5 seconds it is easy to loose concentration. Deep staging seems to confuse people as well.

Brett Kepner aka "Mr Dirt" has had a lot of success racing "slow" cars at big money races. What I appreciate the most is that he gives back to the sport by holding free Drag Schools where he passes on secrets that would take new comers years to figure out. If you want Drag Racing to continue into the future you have to pass it on to the next generation and teach them to pass it on.
