Short people

Go to lowes or home depo and buy a 2 step ladder, they have ones with a really wide steps that is like a platform, 15" x 12" with the ladder opened all the way up the up it will not slide around or kick out from under you.
I bought one for my wife several years ago because our house has 10' ceilings in it and there is no way to reach the top shelfs in her walk in pantry.
I borrow it all the time when working on my truck.
