Any Phone Gurus

There are a few things I would like for you to do on your phone, if you would.

  1. Go to Apps through Home screen.
  2. Scroll to Settings, then tap on it.
  3. Tap More settings.
  4. Tap Mobile networks.
Under this setting, see if there is an option for "T-Mobile Only." While I really don't think this would restrict your phone from only making or receiving calls to/from other T-Mobile customers, it's worth a shot. Also, make sure that your Preferred Network mode is set to "Automatic." It's much easier this way letting the phone decide which network to use depending upon what is available in your area. If worse comes to worse, you can always dial 611 on the phone and connect to T-Mobile's customer service. Warning: Last I knew, their 611 service for prepaid phones was not actually handled by T-Mobile employees, but at a call-center for a company called StarTek. (I used to work for them, and I was T-Mobile prepaid customer service) Usually, the people are pretty helpful, but there are always a few that like to abuse the system and not actually care about helping people.

Good luck to you and let us know how it turns out.
