Are you talking about fuel flow or air flow??? Or both?

Also, since it's an open-plenum manifold, there is the same vacuum signal beneath the venturis no matter how it's turned, isn't there?

If that's true, what would be the advantage of rotating it 90-degrees?

There's obviously something I don't understand, here.

Vacuum is vacuum. The amount of vacuum acting on the carburetor is not going to change with an open plenum manifold like this, no matter how the carb is oriented. Is it???
