I know people keep blaming the economy and all for the "bad time to sell" statements, but the jobs market has gone up, the stock market has gone up, and the unemployment rate has dropped considerably. I think it is all a crock of sh*t. I think people want to spend $1000 on a $5000 car anymore. They think that because they found a rusted out POS in the junkyard for $400, that the same car fully restored is worth what they found in the junkyard. It took me 6 months to sell a very rare Mopar and I was priced lower than what it was worth. And 6 months, now, is not a long time. I ended up selling off my cars, kept the ones I want to restore, and I scrapped all my parts, just cause i'm tired of hearing people's excuses and/or getting beat down on the prices. The junkyard got all my parts, including the 8 3/4 rearend I had. Sorry, I needed to vent. GLWS.
