One of our Reservists brought a can of black into the shop last Drill weekend to Test it out, he sprayed Aluminum parts and plastic body panels, both turned out great and at the end of the day he just peeled it off and it looked like it never happened. I would not use Black just for the fact that it might be to overpowering with too much Black, but a nice Matte Grey might be the ticket.
