I thought about that, too. It was probably made in Europe or So. America where things aren't so politically correct, and people don't sue because their hot coffee is too hot.
The UK actually (you can tell by reading the sign beside the washroom door). And they have pretty stringent standards on stuff. You get asked to prove you're 18 before being allowed to buy a butter knife.
Watch the video closely. You won't see a single piece of "glass" flying. Highly doubtful it's actually glass at all.
