If that's the case, something is bad wrong. As I said earlier, pull the filter and see if you get oil out the filter mount. If not, the problem is

wrong direction (they turn ccw)

busted gasket/ o ring(s)

cracked pickup tube

NO OIL IN THE PAN!!!!
