Fan upgrade question

The factory style clutch fan seems to work decent, however, I think that most of them have been designed to tighten up at a higher temperature than some of us want. I noticed the one I had been running would start pulling much more air at about 205 water temp, not the ~190 that I wanted to maintain. Its still a good option.

For electric fans, a 3.8L Taurus fan should fit a 22" radiator pretty well, and the '95-'99 Ford Contour 2.5 V6 dual fans are about a perfect fit for a 26" radiator.

I'll be running the Contour fans on a 26" 3-row champion radiator. I don't think a 26" radiator will fit in an early A though.
