Try and keep a horse for transportation. They will take it and sell it. Not having to pay your way through life is only for the Amish. Is this really the land of the free. Not anymore. The northeast sucks.

Wow, that's ridiculous. You should be able to grow your own produce and livestock on your own property as long as the land can support it... meaning cows on a 1/4 acre, well I can see that being an issue.

I tell you when the government takes away a man's right to provide food for his family it's time to take away the governments power in that respect.
