If you are referring to me in that post, I think you've got the wrong idea. I make my living dealing in Mopar parts. I buy and part cars, piles of parts..scour scrap yards, junk yards and classifieds 7 days and nights a week. I put my money where my mouth is.
I very often cut deals and extend credit to guys just starting out, or ones that I know are having a difficult time, and I would NEVER consider scrapping something that I know somebody could use, whether I lost money on it or not.

The scrap yard pays by weight they don't get it for free. I have done what you are doing . Its time for me to move on. I have offered the swinger that is here to several who need parts. No hits so Looks like it to is going in for weight.

I had someone that wanted the grille and rims. no damage. So I took it out. One broken tab. the price was $50 . They came here for it and passed. They won't be offered any more parts and I drove the grille over with the excavator.

I am sick of assholes coming here and I still treat them nice. That's just me . But I won't ever let them back. Not even for a bolt.

Then there are the guys that ask for a part. You dig it out give them a killer price and they say they will get it next time. They don't realize there will never be a next time for them. Don't waste my time.

I have a list of 340 cars that are sitting in Pa and NJ. I have just lost interest in parting them. Once I finish my two a bodies I am moving on to something different.

And yes I would rather junk my stuff then give it away for free.
