stupid looking car thread

Spitfire orange Volare RR- NOT ugly.

However, I did find the Avanti a bit homely, until I saw a re-release with square headlights. I thought that was a major improvement, and then built an appreciation for the rest of the styling.

BTW I recently learned that the Avanti was styled by industrial designer Raymond, who also designed the Pennsylvania Railroad T1 "sharknose" steam locomotive in 1945, which is a favorite of mine.
