I got specs for Felpro Head gasket 8553pt

I called Federal Mogul today and got the specs for the 8553pt head gaskets. Now I know why there are so many different compressed thickness numbers being thrown around. This gasket is not as precisely made as some of the more expensive gaskets that actually post a compressed thickness. Their tech guy said that the 8553pt uncompressed will vary anywhere from .046" to .057". He also told me that the compressed thickness will be .003" to .004" under whatever your uncompressed thickness was. I hope this helps someone in the future.
