9" to 10" rear brake converion

I just bought drum and shoes and hardware to redo 69 9''ers, im at a buddies place to drill out drums to lbp, and stumbled across 2 10'' backing plates......score......so as i well know every action has a reaction, so do i just need to swap up drums shoes ect to 10'' stuff and or what else is involved, will wheel cyl be the same? thanks for the info
