73' B3 340 Duster pro touring build

How about this for a port EFI intake idea:

Take a magnum intake and cut the runners open at the top so the runner is about half the length of factory. Then cut the unused portions of the runners out completely. This will open up the intake and give it kind of a tunnel ram look. Box the area in where the intake runners pick up air and leave a gap between the bottom of the intake and this new boxed area so there is minimal heat transfer. Then find some way to put a throttle body on the front rather than the top. Kind of a "5.9 SRT Intake" idea.

I realize you probably don't have the right heads for this, but I don't think this will every get past the idea stage with me and you obviously have the skills to do something like that. :-D

The TB on the front is tight, though. Might not work at all.

I've always wondered what the factory would have come up with if they had put the magnum motors in a car.

Or, grab on old tunnel ram and put some injector bungs in it. Dump the carb top and build a tapered box with the throttle body at the front. Kind of like Holley's Hi-Ram for the LS.

Just trying to help. :toothy10:

Thanks Ill research that for options, I have been talking with Rich from Fastman EFI about dual throttle bodies on a Indy Cylinder head Mod Man intake he will do all the machining since there are provisions in the manifold for the injectors...sort of would look like this set. Yea, I know its on a Ford but you get the idea. I can't seem to find many online pics of a small block mopar with dual throttle bodies and injector rails.
