Cal trac /mono leaf results
Still not there, but better. Well prepped track helps, Went to the semi finals @ the bracket bash friday, and lost when the car fell off by 10th, I had a .007 to his .036,but he ran dead on with a zero.No reason the car should have fell off,all the data said it should run the number, and yes, it was all in the 60's
Saturday Summit race we went a couple of rounds, and lost on a break out of 1 1/2 thou. It was to my good friend Darrel Saxby (his Chevelle is the picture used in the NHRA rule book for S/St 2012)We are like 4&2 his favor!.1st round was the best, had a 9 second altered (see pic), .00017 @ the stripe, and it was the tree that did it.We both ran 2 off, but I had him covered by 2 on the tree, so that was the diff.
You can see how cut throat it is, look at the video and look at the lights .This was a TT against my father in law in his altered.
The car doesn't pack the wheels anymore, because I have it so calmed down on the line..But who care's this is as good as it gets for me,and as long as I am going rounds I am happy......I also got to meet my new friend Doug (inkjunky) Thanks for the photo Doug, you can see it is keeping the tires planted pretty good now, at least when it feels like it! Like I said, a well prepped track helps, that is what we had because it was a big race with F/C's and such.
It was hotter then blazes, and the attitude was 5000'!
We'll just finish the season having fun, and make changes from there.
