You need to check the output of the alternator to see if you're charging. It should also be connected directly to the battery. Output voltage should be approx. 14.2 volts at a fast idle. If good you need to see if you have a current draw with everything off. To do this disconnect one battery terminal and put your ammeter in series between the battery post and the battery lead you just took off. It should read zero amps unless you have a radio which stores information in which case you'll get in the order of low milliamps at most. If you're pulling more current you'll need to find the load. Check for light bulbs still on (especially glove box light) and other circuits. Good luck.
