'71 Demon Pro Street/Touring

I'm basically building the "junkyard Magnum" that was done in one of the magazines, and a few here have built with some good results.

What I have so far is a 98 Magnum (used from a truck), Air Gap, and Holley 750 DP. Purchase plans include RHS heads from Brian at IMM, Dougs or TTIs and a cam recommended by Brian at IMM. With my combo he likes the Comp Cams Thumpr. Lots of haters of that cam but Brian reports good performance so I'm not about to argue. It has a 107 LSA, I/E duration 227/241, lift .513/.498.

If I have to do any cylinder boring, I'll add pistons that up the compression some but I want to burn pump gas. I think I'll also purchase the rocker setup from Hughes.

My project has been idle for a while but I'm about to get back at it.
