hughes retro fit lifters PROBLEMS
I wasn't really comfortable with it either, but wasn't going to argue with someone at Hughes that (I thought) had more experience with them than I did. Funny that now there is an instruction sheet and the numbers on it are more inline with what you posted way back when I asked (over 2 years ago). It doesn't seem to have been a problem, but I've never felt great about it.
I just figured with the different mass and perhaps maybe a longer body, that it was different for a roller lifter than a flat tappet. Now I don't think so. I agree that it doesn't make any sense that the hydraulic part of the lifter would be any different, but I wasn't building them either.
