74 Road Runner w/Rare 318...$10,000 Craigslist Loon!

318 4 speed is somewhat rare, but a 340 or even a 400 auto is considered much more desireable in most people's books.

I've never heard or seen any documentation on 318 4 barrel cars until the very late 70's. What was the VIN code for that in 1974?

My research does indicate that the 318 2 barrel dual exhaust RR (and the 318-2 rallye Charger with duals) was the 170 HP 318 listed in most auto repair manuals, even though it carried the same VIN designation of G. Every group of enthusiasts I've ever been around has been puzzled by that and usually folks like to assume it's a police motor.
