Overheating issue with March Performance pulleys

i called and asked, it is supposed to be 5/8. i bought these used off of moparts, and the gentleman selling them as a GOOD set of "used for mock up only pullies" failed to mention this small detail to me!!!

apparently he modified them for some odd reason, then off'd them onto me. how nice of him. I emailed him, still havent heard back yet.
