Fan upgrade question

I have 73 Dart with a slant 6, just got a new 22" radiator that bolted on stock holes, I tried to get a clutch fan, but they are too long(snout) I tried to use those flex fan, got three of them and they don't clear my power steering. Only way I think is to remove radiator and add some more spacers, will never be able to install blade without removing radiator. is this how it is done? from radiator to pulley, I have 4". look into electric fans, to pull around 2000cfm, thickness of fan is 4" or over. the fans that are 2 to 3" thick won't pull enough air. So I am currently using the stock 4 blade fan until something comes up. Jerry
