Dodge A 100 thread

i always loved the A100s and A108 compact vans/pickups. my childhood friends older brother had an A100 shortie window van that he spray painted the rear windows black so it looked like limo tint, it had cragar S/S wheels on it, and was primer black. always thought it looked cool.

many years later after just moving to abilene TX in 1995 i saw an A108 cargo van in my local boneyard at around 1997. it was a V8, 3 on the tree, and the body was straight and rust free, original paint was a chalky white. i thought if i had the money and place to keep it id want to save it, maybe custom it out. but living in an apartment, and having no garage or place to keep it prevented me. id still like to have one, or a B series tradesman 200 up to 1977, as i didnt like the tall rear lamps or quad headlamps on the newer ones, but rather liked the earlier grilles and tail lamps better.

nice A100/A108 vans/pickups. keep the pix coming. i especially liked the green and gold one. that setup with the bigs n littles would be cool under an A100 panel van.

that one A100 van, the one that was on the ferry had some cool louvered side glass too. almost like a camper trailer. used to be an A100 where i grew up that was painted up yellow with the servicemaster decals on it. had cragars on it too. guess its owner was a servicemaster franchisee.
