Multimeter

What is a good brand that is reasonably priced mutimeter? I'm looking for a new one mine bit the dust.

Fluk is almost always the first choice.

i would NOT recommend anything from radioshack. Went through two (one was warranty replacement) and both failed and went schizo. Like a they do when you need to change the battery and give nonsense readings except new battery that wasn't the solution. POS.

While that was out of commission i went through a couple Harbour Freight branded ones (one of mine, one of my fathers), one the lead wire is super thin gauge and broke in the casing, the other i don't recall.

Never did buy that nice Fluk. And IMO they are not reasonably priced unless you make a living with one. yeah i used the K couple a couple times, transistor tester socket maybe 3... anymore volts and continuity, ohms handles all my needs.

Santy Clause brought me one from Sears Seems ruged and hey it still works and hasn't let me down for a few years now.
