If I were guessing, I would say because somebody snagged a bargain for a BB car if it was well set up, sorted out, and ready to run. Car sold for $9300.
Lots of people ask much more for less on craigslist and ebay. I bet that car went somewhere between Rockland and the Winterport area. If I would have known about it, I would have sent my Dad down.
