who is into Nascar

In the past, NASCAR was a speed and endurance test of production cars with only minor modifications allowed, and it was exciting to watch. In the past twenty five years, the sport has become a driver popularity contest, and the quality of racing has suffered because the sanctioning body has written the rules so that all brands are theoretically aero-equal, and nearly all the mechanical parts are the same.

To some, watching 43 cars going in circles is boring. To others, watching two cars at full throttle for a few seconds is boring. To each his own. I love participating in drag racing, but find it totally boring to watch. I've also driven a NASCAR Cup car at over 150 mph in the Richard Petty Driving Experience at Texas Motor Speedway, and it's far from boring!

I'm a fan of the car, not the driver, and since Dodge left the sport this year I don't care really who wins, but the Keselowski family are Mopar people at heart, so I suppose I favor both Brad and Brian...unless Dodge re-enters the series and someone else becomes their driver.
