are you serious! Why not just tell the guy to go to chip foose and let him paint the car! Most of us who have cars like this don't have the money for the 10,15, $20,000 paint jobs I have also seen people paint cars out in the backyard and they came out the be showpieces.

I think the car looks great and it is the best color for a Barracuda.

As for the other stuff.... It just comes down to professionalism and pride in your work. Shoot suits are not expensive (mine was $25) and they last a long time.

Keeping the hose off the floor (not the entire hose, but the first several feet) doesn't cost anything. The painter dropped the hose on the ground after he unplugged the gun.

The stuff Swinger340Canuc mentioned doesn't add to the cost of a repaint.
