The reason there are very few 302 Chevrolet smallblocks at the race track is the same reason there are fewer fast 318s at the track.. Its cheaper and easier to run the number with more cubes, and the engine will last longer, not to mention 7200 rpm and nitrous doesn't sound like a good plan for "street car" durability. Its cool and all to go fast with a overlooked motor, but it really proves nothing.
