Which heads?
I do know that the intake port is a big mismatch to the 318 head port, and that cannot aid in performance. I also know from past experience that the 318 port can be opened up but still won't completely match the intake. I do need to pull harder on the upper end of the rpm's, because I need to be at approximately 98-100 mph to break into high 13's (an average for most cars at that E.T). I was at 84 mph, but with the 4bbl now I guess approx. 87 mph ??? I need to find approx. 10 mph or so, and a 340 cam won't cut all that, so something has to be done to the heads, either some work (me and my dremel) on the 318 heads or the 308's (65 bucks for milling .040).
