340 build No POWER need help w tune

Well guys I'm about to take this cursed Friday built carb and smash it on the ground. No matter what I do she runs rich. And can't idle without being on the curb idle. For some reason I gave the motor a good crack of the throttle. And the fuel pressure dropped back down to 6 and stayed there .....mmmmmmk?? .. I've done everything I've been told from all you helpful members and nothing seems to work. This carb ran rich on my buddies car and now mine.
And one other note. When I snapped the throttle and the fuel pressure dropped to normal the Rpm decided to raise at idle and stay at 1400. Oie.
I feel like a broken record. Sorry guys.
